Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia Biochemistry Prerequisite Review Form

This form is for those who have questions about the Biochemistry prerequisite course and its equivalency towards our admission requirements specifically for our Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia program.

As a reminder, these are the minimum requirements for the prerequisite:

  • Must be at least 3-semester credits and classified as an upper-division course (300 level+), community college courses are not acceptable.
  • Completed with a grade of “B” or better (a “B minus” grade is not accepted).
  • Biochemistry course must have been completed no more than five (5) years prior to the final application deadline for the UNE Nurse Anesthesia program.
  • Biochemistry course must be successfully completed with an official transcript submitted to NursingCAS and the UNE Office of Graduate Admissions & Recruitment no later than the final application deadline.
