We invite you to join us for a Physical Therapy Shadow Visit and experience a day in the life of a UNE D.P.T. student on our Portland Campus for the Health Sciences. This visit is designed to give you a meaningful look at the PT program in action. Rather than simply hearing about the curriculum, you will step directly into the learning environment and observe how faculty guide hands-on lab instruction, how students collaborate in movement science and clinical skills settings, and how evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning are integrated throughout the program.
During your time on campus, you will sit in on a live D.P.T. class alongside current students, share an informal lunch where you can ask questions about coursework and clinical rotations, and participate in a guided campus tour with the Graduate Admissions team. Our goal is to help you experience the D.P.T. learning community firsthand, gain clarity about program expectations and culture, and begin to picture yourself as part of UNE’s Physical Therapy cohort.
Please note that shadow visits are designed for prospective students only. Because you will be entering active classroom and lab spaces, guests and family members are not permitted to attend.
